Welcome to Cast's Garage ("Cast's Garage," "we," "us," or "our"). These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the castsgarage.com website (the "Site") and any purchases you make from us. By using the Site or placing an order, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.

Who we are

Cast's Garage is a hobbyist 1:64 die-cast collection and small independent store. We showcase our personal collection and offer a limited number of castings for sale online and during live shows. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Mattel, Hot Wheels, Matchbox, Kaido House, Mini GT, Majorette, Greenlight, M2 Machines, Racing Champions, Whatnot, or any other brand featured on the Site.

Using the site

You may browse the Site for your own personal, non-commercial use. You agree not to misuse the Site, including attempting to interfere with its normal operation, scraping or copying content at scale, or using it in violation of any applicable law. We may change, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Site at any time without notice.

Products, photos & descriptions

We work to describe and photograph each casting accurately, including its condition, series, and whether it is sealed (mint-on-card) or loose. That said, colors can vary between screens, and small production variances are normal with die-cast models. Photographs are of the actual item or a representative example as noted. Listing a car on the Site is an invitation to purchase, not a binding offer, and does not guarantee availability.

Availability & one-of-one stock

Most pieces are one-of-one — once a casting sells, it is gone. Inventory shown on the buy page reflects live stock from our store, but timing gaps can occur, and we reserve the right to cancel and refund an order if an item is unavailable, mispriced, or listed in error.

Pricing & payment

Prices are listed in U.S. dollars and may change at any time. Checkout and payment are handled by our third-party commerce provider (Shopify) through its secure, PCI-compliant checkout. Cast's Garage never sees or stores your full card details. By submitting an order you represent that you are authorized to use the payment method provided. Applicable taxes and shipping are calculated at checkout.

Orders

When you place an order you will receive an order confirmation. That confirmation acknowledges receipt of your order; a contract of sale forms only when we accept and ship the item. We may refuse or cancel any order at our discretion, including for suspected fraud, pricing errors, or stock issues, in which case we will refund any amount charged.

Shipping

We ship within the timeframe noted at checkout, typically within a few business days. Most castings ship with tracking, and multi-item orders may qualify for combined shipping. Risk of loss passes to you on delivery to the carrier. Delivery times provided by carriers are estimates, and we are not responsible for carrier delays once a package leaves our hands.

Returns & refunds

Because most items are collectible and one-of-one, please review photos and descriptions carefully before buying. If an item arrives damaged in transit or materially different from its description, contact us within 7 days of delivery with photos and we will make it right through a replacement (if available) or refund. We cannot accept returns for minor factory variances normal to die-cast production, or for buyer's remorse on opened items.

Live shows (Whatnot & other platforms)

Some sales happen during live shows on Whatnot. Purchases made on that platform are governed by its own terms, policies, buyer protection, and payment processing, in addition to any show rules we announce. These Terms apply to the castsgarage.com Site and orders placed directly through it.

Fan Contributions

Some pieces shown on the Site are contributed or shared by fellow collectors for display and are not for sale. If you submit photos or information about your collection, you grant Cast's Garage permission to display that content on the Site with credit as agreed, and you confirm you have the right to share it.

Intellectual property

Hot Wheels, Matchbox, and related marks are trademarks of Mattel; Kaido House, Mini GT, Majorette, Greenlight, M2 Machines, Racing Champions, Whatnot, and other names and logos are the property of their respective owners. They are used on the Site for identification and descriptive purposes only. Site content that we create — original text, layout, and photography — belongs to Cast's Garage and may not be copied or reused without permission.

Third-party links

The Site links to third-party sites and services (such as Shopify, Whatnot, Instagram, and Apple Podcasts). We are not responsible for the content, policies, or practices of those third parties, and your use of them is at your own risk and subject to their terms.

Disclaimers

The Site and its content are provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that the Site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components, or that information such as values or pricing is complete or current. Any hobby "value" figures shown are informal estimates, not appraisals or investment advice.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Cast's Garage will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Site or any product purchased. Where liability cannot be excluded, our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the item giving rise to the claim.

Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes take effect when posted, and the "Effective date" above will be updated. Your continued use of the Site after changes are posted means you accept the revised Terms.
